Writing is the heart of it. The new block editor has 21 blocks: text, headings, images, galleries, video, audio, quotes, code, tables, columns, buttons, alerts, link previews, files and more. Drag blocks to reorder them, save your own post templates, compare revisions and let autosave do its job. Prefer a classic editor? Any Joomla editor works too.

Readers get pages that are a pleasure to read: large covers, clean typography, an author box, related posts, reactions, ratings and an image lightbox. Choose rows, cards, a grid or a magazine front page, and add a featured slider in one of eight styles.

Behind that are the tools for a growing blog:

- Fixed: on sites upgraded from EasyBlog that used one of its other themes (simplistic, nickel, pastel, elegant, ...), the blog was shown without any styles, because those themes and their stylesheets are not part of NexBlog. NexBlog now always uses its own theme, the setup wizard switches the settings to it and removes the old theme folders.
